I have an iPhone 5C. Still works fine. I don't upgrade because my carrier AT&T hasn't put any good deals out here - like FREE. That's how I got started with these iPhones.
Now that I'm hooked, I have to pay a fortune to get a new upgraded phone.

My 4S with 8 Gb has been retired, and replaced by 7 with 128Gb.😎

@wilful

You could have updated to iPhone 7 with 32 Gb for free if you like iPhones and AT&T.

Least I believe that was the latest offer, from them.

I have an iPhone 6 and so far I can still update the software to the current iOS 10.3.2.
Updates are automatically set to download.
Those with iPhone 5, 5c and older might be exposed to security glitches and bugs if they can’t download the current software, forcing them to purchase newer phones that accepts the updates.

No iphone.  Had a Motorola cell phone for 7 or 8 years.  ATT texted and phoned me to get a new one.  Went to their store and they gave me a brand new LG phone.  Totally Free!  No strings!  Good ole ATT!  Smiley Happy

Apple’s iOS 11 update means iPhone 5 and 5C will no longer receive updates.  Do you update your phone often enough for these changes?
