Consumer Cellular New Phone Data Transfer?

Got my wife a new CC flip phone.

Plugged old phone into both a Windows 10 and Windows 7 computer to transfer contacts and such, but neither will recognize it.

Have done this before without problem. Will call CC tomorrow, but wondered if anybody knows what secret is?

Never got an answer, either here or from CC. Had to do it manually, i.e. put in contacts one at a time.
