Each time you turn on the TV, and it's after when the evening news is over, many times we see nothing but garbage on TV.  Sex, foul language, etc.  Many of us that are over 50 could remember the days of when we had Hee Haw and The Waltons.  At least thank goodness the museum industry has stepped in to save those shows or at least to honor them.  In Nashville, there is an exibit based on Hee Haw up on the 3rd floor of the County Music Hall of Fame and Museum.  And the museum does have an elevator to take you up there.  There is a Walton Mountain Museum in Schuyler, VA just northeast of Roanoke, VA.  The museum is in what used to be a school.  The parking lot is well designed to handle large school buses so that schools can take classes on field trips to the Walton Museum.  The Cable TV industry made sure that The Waltons TV show didn't die.  The show is on INSP.  One episode from that show was where John Boy who was played by Richard Thomas was learning how to drive a car.  When I was a kid, I could also remember "Leave it to Beaver".  Both Theodore "Beaver" Cleaver and Eddie Haskel often gotten themselves into trouble.  That show too has been saved.  It's now on TV land.
