coping with wife of failing health, refuses to see medical help

I'm kind of going through the same thing, right now.  Very stubborn patient.   I've needed to get my husband to the radiologist for a CT scan, or a regular appointment, or whatever.   When he refuses to go, I tell him he can either walk to the car, or I'm calling the ambulance.   So far that's gotten him up and moving.   

I've also signed up for some home health care.   

Not sure if that would help in your situation?  But good luck.   I know it's rough.
