If you haven't found anything yet, consider:

  1. The Non-emergency medication transportation program run by the State's Health and Human Services. The program is open to people with an annual income of $60k or less and I think it requires Medicaid eligibility even for Medicare recipients. It appears individuals can apply to be drivers under this program. 877-633-8747 is the number given on the HHS website.
  2. Texoma Area on Aging Agency at 800-677-8264 (903-813-3505) or info@texoma.cog.tx.us
  3. Start at the national level and contact resources under the National Kidney Foundation (www.kidney.org/patients/resources), your dialysis provider, or the American Association of Kidney Patients (www.aakp.org
  4. Last resort, look into home dialysis.

Best wishes for finding what you need.
