Good Morning,

I've taken care of my parents over the years when they needed me. My Dad passed away in May 2008. I then cared (when needed) for my Mom until she passed away in August 2009.  (both left us, way too early)

I've been a caregiver to many friends with
Emphysema, Cancer related
issues as well as just being there in their final moments. I haven't been back to being a caregiver because of the emotional stress of having both my parents go within a year of each other. It was truly a shock to everyone, since they were both in pretty good health in that time frame.

Being a Caregiver is very emotionally draining at times. I have heard from others "how hard can it be", don't get so involved. You can't help it when you are caring for another human being. They rely on us for care.

I will maybe get back into caring for someone, however right now I'm trying to heal myself.

My hat is off to all CAREGIVERS. I know what its like to be in your situation/s.

Blessings to all!
