Low cost transportation advice?

Sometimes senior organizations, churches and synagogues have volunteer drivers. And there are always taxis, although drivers may not assist elderly riders door to door.  What services have you used for someone or yourself?

I have used Zoom Rides for Seniors in Bergen County.  It's the only private senior concierge service I trust for my mom who is 78 years old.

I just engaged a gentleman to drive me. Taxy is not available right in time. Can a Church Volunteer take my transportation responsibility about 3 days a week if I pay a modest amount every working day?

I live in Cedar Park Tx 78613.
I am 75 almost and I go to schools as Substitute teacher about 3 days a week. The cost of taxy every day up and down is mostly 40 Dollars whereas I earn every day only 85 Dollars. This is very uneconomic  for me whereas I need to earn at least 1000 Dollars a month. Can AARP advise me the best way to find a low cost transportation? Please help.
