It’s right there on the inside of the coffee mug I use almost every day even though it’s chipped– “Love the moment.” This mug is a treasured gift from a close friend I lost to pancreatic cancer ten years ago. What a lovely gift she gave you. Some moments are hard to love, but there can be learning and gift in those ones, too. Your friend lives on in you, and what a treasure that is. Grief can have a poignant quality. I'm so glad you shared this thought.
