Does anybody use Mom’s Meals (R) ?
Anybody use MOM’S MEALS (R)
Either for themselves or for someone or several, perhaps, for which you are caring ?
What do you think of the meals? What about service? I would also be interested to know if your use them as a single person, small group or perhaps even an institution.
Thanks to anybody who would like to reply with some incite.

I’m the sole caregiver for my dad who has Alzheimer’s. We were both signed up for Mom’s Meals about 8 weeks ago and it has been an administrative nightmare trying to get them to set both of our accounts up. They got my dad’s meals to us but nothing for me 8 weeks later, we had been receiving Meals on Wheels for 2 and now only receiving meals for one from Mom’s Meals. Customer service is pretty much nonexistent & when you do talk to someone they don’t seem to know what they’re doing. Also, the deliveries are unpredictable, where I live they use a 3rd party delivery service and provide no tracking information so you have no idea when they’re going to show up. The food is ok, I guess the only difference from Meals on Wheels is that you get to choose what you’re going to get, food quality is about the same.

We’ve used Top Chef Meals for several years now. We tried Mom’s M. When shipping got delayed by holidays, but we’re not satisfied. Top Chef delivers specialty meals well packed and if you call with a problem a customer service person will call you back to fix it. I still recommend them after trying other services. (My mother is 96 and we get low sodium meals.)

Please be careful with this company and it affiliate, "Helping Hands" very shady. They have been jerking me at for months taking all my insurance information and never bothering to respond. All is a AI generated response. And when I call the phone is never answered. Don't understand why it has all this good advertisements. Seniors like us need to be careful with shady companies that look good in print. I am in the process of reporting them to medi care.

Last year at this time I was caring for a friend with cancer. I was at his house three times a week for over 18 months. One of the times was to take the mom’s meals delivery in and replace the older ones in his refrigerator. He only ate some of them. I tried them and wasn't overly impressed but at least it was food, I didn't like throwing so much of it away, so I brought them to our local food bank. After a few months the food bank asked me to stop bringing them because no one was picking them up which was a surprise to me. We have “Meals on Wheels” here in our town so I would investigate something like that before I would use moms meals, although in a pinch I think they would do The service was good, they packed for shipping using cold packs, again a lot of waste.
My mom has received Mom's Meals since 2022. She finds that they are okay as long and she's able to use them as a complement to fresh made meals. Mom's Meals are all frozen. They do have different menus for specific dietary needs and they have been very helpful when my mom has called to ask questions or change something. I hope this helps.

I have used them before for my brother. When I asked him how was the food, he said that it was good, better than he thought, and he is picky when it comes to food.
I placed the order online and they sent a confirmation email. The food arrived well packaged with ice packs/dry ice. I hope this helps.
