Did You Hear?

There is new Medicare coverage for Covid-19 antibody treatment. This could be huge for nursing homes and loved ones!

What has anyone heard about this? Know any more details?

This is the same type treatment which President Trump took when he had the virus and was hospitalized at Walter Reed Medical Center. - Monoclonal Antibody Infusion.

CMS 11/09/2020 - Medicare Monoclonal Antibody COVID-19 Infusion Program Instruction

It is still investigational.  It is allowed to be used under the Emergency Use Authorization from the FDA.

Read more at the link and it will tell you on who and when it is being utilized.

PS - @AARPMichaelP

OFF TOPIC - I intended to quote from the CMS Fact Sheet (link above) with more details but I got the HTML error - I think the reason was that the type in the CMS .pdf was different and thus it picked up an HTML code.
