Assisted Living Neighborhood

With the pandemic not stopping anytime soon, the future of assisted living is likely to involve a return to the “neighborhood” planning model but in an enhanced way.

Architects have a discussed the need for larger facilities to reorganize residents into groups 10-15 people in compartmentalized suites with their own dining and amenity areas, laundry and caregivers who stay assigned to specific clusters.

Of course sanitary measured would be enhanced and expected to be followed.

How would you feel about your loved one living in this type of community?
