AARP Eye Center
I recently rejoined AARP mainly to take advantage of the car insurance coverage with Hartford. All is well...so far, but I do have a question about your 'benefits' with the choices of AARP recommended restaurants that I guess give discounts. Maybe you can save money by going to these restaurants, but the quality of food served at these places is highly questionable. I doubt any of the meals are made from scratch and are all prepackaged and loaded with preservatives and chemicals. AARP could do well by having an unbiased food editor and advise members to start looking at food labels and such. Our sources of foods are loaded with known carcinogens and chemicals. Ask me how I know. And don't say we have the FDA to look out for us either. Just another 3 and 4 letter government do-nothing agency.

AARP's restaurant picks aren't always healthy!
You're right to be picky about what you eat. It's important to find places that serve good, fresh food.
Let's find some better options!
