Medicare/ Employer insurance ?

I'm still working and have a good insurance plan through my employer.

I would like to start collecting from my Social Security but would like to

continue with my employer insurance and not pay for Medicare. Is this

allowed, can it I do this?

I plan on working one more year at the age of 68.

Hi VictorL427619   Thanks for reaching out! Yes you can do that, but within certain guidelines. Use the AARP Medicare Enrollment Guide: https://www.aarp.org/health/medicare-insurance/enrollment-guide/about/essentials/avoiding-mistakes/?...  so you can help you determine your best time to sign up.
Learn how Medicare works with your other health coverage. Decide between original Medicare and Medicare Advantage. You must log in to your http://AARP.org?cmp=SNO-LITHIUM---&socialid=13935286390 online account in order to access the AARP Medicare Enrollment Guide. If you don’t have an account, it's free and easy to create one.

You will also find lots of information, as well as your local State Health Insurance Assistance Programs (SHIPs). Let me know how I can help!  Jodee R.
