AARP Eye Center
I got fooled because there is something that's borderline fraudulent regarding the AARP United Healthcare plan premium annual increases being "community price rated" versus "age attained price". In comparing Medigap plans AARP United Healthcare is listed as a community based plan so not affected by a person's age but when I went to the website I noticed the rates increased when I entered a different age! A UHC agent then told me its "community rated" but the plan has a 36 percent discount that it gives you when you first sign up (and it's not at all obvious). Then that "discount" goes down by 3 percent each year so premiums increase with your age! Please make a warning on the AARP website!
