I have just spent almost an hour — two phone calls and a chat — trying to get help comparing the dental plans from regular Delta Delta vs. the AARP Delta Dental plans.
I need to see if someone either in AARP or in Delta Dental can answer what should be a simple question. It seems they have deliberately made things hard to compare.
The company has “silo-ed” the two areas so that each says they know nothing about the other. The question I have is simple: is there a discount for the same or better coverage if I go with AARP? Or have they fussed around with the coverages so that you can’t compare the products — so that what looks cheaper is just cheaper because it’s lesser?
I have learned to expect obfuscation from large corporations. I am still naive enough to not expect it from a non-profit.
Can someone assist?
