United Healthcare has just raised their fees , again. This time over 12% !!! AARP does not care. They make a % of all fees. I just searched average fee increases and it was 4% !!! Time to get out of United Healthcare. I would suggest doing some homework. They count on people (Lemmings) just paying the increase and not moving on. Very sad. AARP needs to do their homework and use other providers. But they do not. Sad.
AARP-sponsored Medicare Supplemental insurance with United Healthcare has increased fees by over 12%, while the average rise is just 4%. This substantial hike calls for therapy, as it highlights the need for consumers to research and switch providers. Don't just accept it; seek better, more affordable options.

I was disturbed to read in the WSJ about the Medicare fraud being perpetrated by Medicare Advantage programs with United Healthcare leading the pack! Is AARP going to address this issue with its members?
According to WSJ journalists, Medicare Advantage made “hundreds of thousands of questionable diagnoses that triggered extra taxpayer-funded payments,” including for deadly illnesses where patients received no care and for conditions that “people couldn’t possibly have.”
The newspaper cites an analysis of billions of Medicare records for their determination. In some cases, neither the patient nor physicians seemed aware insurers were billing the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for the dubious services.
