1. I received an email from AARP suggesting I should look at AARP Prescription Program (Optum Rx)
2. So I made the effort to log into AARP Prescription Discount (Optum Rx),
3. Search for a medication
4. COSTCO & a Price will displays with the best coupon price
5. Sent the AARP Prescription Program (Optum Rx) coupon to my phone.
6. Called my Dr to order the Rx for me at Costco.
I went to Costco & their staff said they DO NOT work with AARP Prescription Programs (Optum Rx)!
I called Optum Rx & they said as of now, Costco is NOT an option for the AARP Prescription Program!
IF Costco is NOT AVAILABLE with this Prescription Program, then COSTCO SHOULD NOT BE DISPLAYED AS A CHOICE VIA THE SEARCH.
I asked to speak with someone at Optum Rx who could respond to this. I was told the Supervisor is not available and they would call me back.
This is NOT okay to display FRAUDULENT info on their Search:
1. I specifically had my Rx called in to Costco, anticipating paying the price displayed on the AARP Prescription (Optum Rx) site.
2. Only to find out the Coupon is not recognized nor used by Costco!
Costco should be removed from the Search Results now!
I called AARP and the person said they would call me back and basically disconnected my call.
Does this represent how AARP and OPTUM Rx treat their members?
