AARP Management

Please tell us why there was a transition from AARP Chase (superior customer service) to AARP Barclay's (questionable this point). It would seem that this transition to Barclay's could have been handled a whole lot better for the senior citizens using this credit card. The transition was without a lot of notice, it was handled sloppily, there were problems activating cards, reoccurring charge issues, disputed charges for no apparent reason. The customer service department rang busy for 48 hours during the transition period, you couldn't even get in a line for help. Why! Why didn't you leave a good thing alone and leave us with AARP Chase? Inquiring minds need to know.
