AARP HARFORD WASN'T A GREAT DEAL, ANYONE ELSE?

So my wife and I recently joined AARP, thought we could save a little on the insurance, but they couldn't beat our Statefarm policies for both home and auto, hmmm, anyone else? Is the value of paying for AARP worth the trouble of getting quotes? Any info would be appreciated.
