What’s the best way to shoot at the missiles in Missile Command?

In Missile Command, is there a trick to where you should shoot your countermeasure bombs to get them to destroy the incoming missiles? I keep missing them.

In Missile Command, click (or tap on mobile) to place the cross hair where you want your bombs to explode. A good strategy is to place them just below the missile’s path. That way you don’t risk missing the missile or having it fly right by, so you’ll have good success at neutralizing them. Think of it like hockey when you always want to “skate to where the puck is going.”
