Re: Rewards for Good rip off!!
Wendy you are welcome, other members and myself have been asking for increase in Foundation points donation since finding out we will lose points.
Thanks again and donate immediately on the first, there's a limit.
Have a Blessed Day,
Marylin

Re: Rewards for Good rip off!!
Hello @wc8789 ,
WC, on the 1st there will be information with instructions on how to donate points.
Here's the direct link:
https://rewards.aarp.org/#/department/product/aarppfcSeptember19
https://rewards.aarp.org/#/department/product/aarppfcSep19
I discovered only change to link is month. Try both of them.
Thanks in advance for wanting to help struggling seniors😃
Have a Blessed Day,
Marylin

Re: Rewards for Good rip off!!
Hello @wc8789 ,
You are so right about the Auctions, if you manage to win one it wipes out the majority of your points for $5 card. Big Auctions go to million points members, who then are just about wiped out on their points. Then you continue to seeing these high bidding Auctions and unable to bid again because everything is out of your points range. What happened to the Tiers Management?
Another member posted "you spend $90.00 and I'll give you $10", it seems to be about how much they can sell members.
You can donate 2,000 points on September 1st to help struggling seniors, it's tax-deductible and the last opportunity to help.
Have a Blessed Day,
Marylin

Re: Rewards for Good rip off!!
That is certainly a way to look at RfG and its demise.
I know that I have not lost anything but my time to go through exercises, take quizzes, and learn things along the way.
I understand that RfG and AARP Rewards will be run differently and I do believe the new one will be run by AARP, itself, and not by a third party.
Just that transition, alone, would make it impossible to carry over points to the new system.
We will get some consideration for our participation in RfG when we move over to AARP Rewards. Yes, we will lose our points, but those points are only good for RfG, anyway.
I will wait to see what AARP Rewards does before I hold judgement.
Like any other change, we will adjust or walk away. We can choose for ourselves.
Good luck with your choice, WC. I won't hold you to what you say today. It's up to you.
Enjoy!

Rewards for Good rip off!!
Many of us have spent YEARS accumulating our points, and now you’re going to wipe them out and start a new points program? No thank you!! The least you can do is roll over our points into the new program.
You claim we can use our points through September. On what? You don’t offer much of anything unless we spenda substantial amount of money. The auctions are only for those with tons of points.
I will not waste my time with the new program, only for AARP to drop it too in a few years.
