Re: Have you filed your taxes yet?

I took the quiz and answered all questions correctly. I did check the "Hint" tab on two questions that confirmed my choice. I have always done my own taxes using TurboTax since it was created. While my taxes are a bit complicated the software package--and availability of a tax community to ask questions--makes the process less stressful than using IRS forms and schedules. I collect all necessary information throughout the year and it takes me about eight hours to complete both Federal and State forms. I then file electronically and, if an amount is due, I write the check and send it separately with the required forms.

I just took the Tax Smarts quiz and got 600 points - but there are clearly a few things I don't know about taxes, I guess that is why I have someone else do my taxes.  Take the quiz and tell me how you did -  https://www.aarp.org/money/taxes/info-02-2012/tax-smarts-quiz.html
