Codeword NOT AWARDING POINTS
This has been intermittently occurring with Codeword ever since the mini daily crossword puzzle was found to not be giving points. I can usually pick another date & play a second game to score the 300 points (which is bad enough), but today I played two different day's Codeword games (that I hadn't ever played before), submitted my score, and NO POINTS.
Please investigate & repair. Thank you.

After you complete the grid in Codeword, and the pop-up comes up to submit your score, you need to wait at least 30 seconds (or longer) - all of the background animations need to be finished in the pop-up, then you click Submit. You should then get the pop-up that you earned points. If you don't wait long enough, you won't. Replaying it won't help - once you play it once, it's done for that day. I figured this out on my own after experiencing the same issue with not earning points for playing, basically by accident - I got distracted and hit submit later than usual, and it worked. Next time, did it like I normally was doing, and it didn't. Tried it with the delay again, and it worked again. Been doing it that way ever since, and have only had it not give me points once - I don't think I waited long enough. Hope this helps. That is if the rewards site ever comes back up;)

Thank you for pointing this out. I have the exact same problem. About 30% of the time I get points for this game, whereas for all other games I always get points. I used to be able to do a chat and ask for my points, but earlier this month they discontinued allowing this - so there is no help from AARP. I was told no one else was having the problem, to try a different browser, to clear cache and cookies, and nothing worked - although clearing cache and cookies resulted in all my game essentially resetting to "never played" status, and I lost all my history for Today's Hurdle - EXTREMELY ANNOYING!
Clearly after reading other comments, I am not the only one, and the issue is on AARP's end, they just refuse to fix it.

AARP is no help whatsoever. You know what I got Friday when I complained (again) & asked for my points? They said games are for fun so.... Really? & THey lie - no one else has problems? Maybe they should try reading the community. I've tried everything they suggest. I'm not the problem - they are.

WEIRD workaround: Go to the game from a different link. Go to red banner at top “AARP Rewards”; Use “Browse Rewards” dropdown box to get to “Earn Points”; Use filter and select “Games & Puzzles”; then “Apply.”
I know they all show 200 points but ignore that. I’ve played Codeword twice and it gave me points both times. With Outspell and Word Wipe, I’ve had to hit “Play Again” to get the points. I haven't had a chance to see if this page corrects the other errors.

Ok, this is weird. I went in the way you suggest & received points yesterday. When I tried today's, I didn't - BUT when I replayed yesterday's game, I did! If only customer service would listen to us, take our clues/experience & try to fix it instead of basically telling us we're nuts or doing something wrong.

That is how I always enter the games section. I get points on rare occasion but not today and many other days. I don't understand how it can occasionally award points but not consistently award them. This has gone on since the very beginning with this game. Others work for me.

This has been an ongoing problem for me since the introduction of this game. I have received points about 4 times and NOT RECEIVED points about 50 times. I don't think I ever received points for the other word game introduced at the same time.... Outspell? I have tried clearing cache, cookies, rebooting, using Edge, using Firefox, Signing out of AARP, then rebooting, blah blah blah. All with no change. My conclusion is: They apparently do not know how to fix it or don't care, or want me to believe that it's my problem. Very frustrating.

I have submitted the same issue several times. Today I played another game now offering points and I happily received them. Still no points for Codeword. ICustomer Care Team has only ever told me the issue is reported, . . . .5 months now! I am so disappointed every day!

I have been reporting it since the beginning. Logging in and out makes no difference. It gives me points about once a week.
Responses in pms have been very frustrating. Last one said to clear....which will cause problems with other things on my computer....and to contact the game admins. The game people did NOT cause this problem. Game worked well for years until Rewards came into the picture.
