Hi @KristyJ262512, I see the issue was escalated on April 2nd. Please allow 3-5 business days for a response. - Diana G.
@GregoryA960703 Our escalations team is handling your case. You should receive a response by Tue, July 18. Also, it looks like the issue may have resolved as you were able to purchase a gift card on July 13; We're always here to help if you need anything!
It seems to be a way that they are controlling the amount of cards they are selling. I tried 5 different devices and computers with different browsers and nothing. No problem signing up and paying for the membership though, go figure.
This much I believe is what they tell everyone: the name and addy associated with your AARP membership and on your credit card MUST EXACTLY MATCH. I managed to find one credit card that worked...it happened to be a NEW card I had just received. So, you might research the addy's on them. Also, they limit to 5 gift cards in a month. New month rolls around, you can purchase 5 more. I have seen posts on this thread where people say their name and addy's on the AARP and CREDIT card exactly match, but they don't work. The one that finally worked for me was my Costco CITI VISA card.
