Getting Your AARP Rewards Points on Crossword Games

Make sure you click the “Submit Score” button and get to the game end screen in order to receive your points! (Note: the “submit score” button does not show until the puzzle is filled in 100% and with no errors. If the puzzle is fully filled in and the “submit score” button does not appear, that means there is an error(s) somewhere in the puzzle. Users can either review the puzzle to try and find the error(s) or they can toggle on the “show errors” option in the menu. If it’s just one or two errors, using “show errors” should not affect the score enough to not meet the minimum threshold to get rewards points.)
You can only earn points once for each game per day!
You can use the “Reveal” function to help with a letter or a word when you’re stuck… but use it sparingly! This feature will also knock off game points, which may affect your earning Reward points for that puzzle.
Likewise, if you have the “Show Errors” toggle turned on and you get a letter wrong, that letter will not count towards your final game score, which could affect you meeting the minimum score threshold required to get AARP Rewards points
Only select games with the AARP Rewards badge are eligible for points

I often get the message "Sorry, no points this time." and I am pretty sure I did everything right, according to your list here. I scored 9,950 points and I was rewarded the points in the past for scores lower than that.

It says I already completed the activity. Does that mean for this particular crossword, or does it mean something else? I get this message quite often though usually I get all the points I scored.

You can see your activity in your Rewards account, this will let you see if you have earned for that activity already. To see this click on Transactions History at the upper right of the page and then select Earned. The message that you already completed the activity will be for the activity you are current on.
