What should Iook out for while solving clues on the two minute mini crossword?

2 Minute Mini Crossword is designed to be easier than the regular Mini Crossword, so it’s perfect to play if you want a quick crossword fix. Because of this, there are some clues that the game avoids. Most answers will be single, uncapitalized words – but keep an eye out for the “2 wds” and “Hyph” messages that end some clues and denote that the answers are two words or hyphenated, respectively.

Keep in mind that there’s no penalty for taking longer than 2 minutes to solve the crossword!

Hello, Teri -

I really enjoy the 2 minute crossword so much more than longer, more complicated crossword puzzles. The long puzzles exasperate me! But, with the smaller 2-minute crossword I have a feeling of accomplishment and completion I never get from larger crosswords.

Thank you and AARP for all the puzzles. I feel I can use these puzzles safely and it is the only place, AARP, where I play games.
