I love AARP. So did my parents who were lifetime members. I saw that AARP is recommending Our Time as a good dating app. That may be true for some but I just had a rough experience of being kicked off of the site without explanation. When I asked for clarification they sent me an appeal link. I wrote back to ask how to appeal when you don't know what they saw as a problem. The next email said the matter was closed, leaving me to try to guess what was flagged as a problem. The only thing I can think of was that I mentioned I was in the singing resistance choir to protest the government actions and those of billionaires. It was a very small part of my profile, being only one of the many activities I'm enjoying in retirement. I thought it would help to screen people who I probably wouldn't agree with politically.

I hope that AARP will listen to this and reconsider endorsing what I must conclude is partisan platform.
