I love rock and I love classical music. There are many rock versions of classical music. Many different bands have done the same piece.

So, what are some of your favorites?

I have tons, but here are a few.

1. Titles to numerous to mention -- Trans-Siberian Orchestra

2. Sabre Dance ( Khachaturian ) -- Dave Edmunds

3. Hall of the Mountain King ( Grieg ) -- Electric Light Orchestra

My favorite band was the New York Rock and Roll Ensemble. The members were all Juilliard trained musicians who incorporated many of Bach's pieces in their albums.

Uli Roth is a classically trained musician, known for his Hendrix inspired guitar work with Scorpions in the 70’s. The guitar he plays is one he invented called Sky guitar. He designed it specifically to play notes that are written for violins.
