The city of Elmira NY

was under water. The downtown section had about 6 ft.

of water. It might not sound as bad as the destruction of

hurricanes now days. But this was pretty bad for a community

that doesn't see storms like this. The neighbor city of Corning

and the smaller towns where hit pretty hard that day.

If you 'YouTube' the song, it will bring you to other videos

about Agnes. This one was personal..........

Bless those who have lost so much with the recent attacks

of mother nature along the coast and inward states. You

are never alone.

PEACE

I forgot to mention at that time I was staying with

my sister. We missed the flood waters by about

8 feet. I also should mention that we lived on

the second floor. The first floor was swimming

in water. After that. all that was left was debris

and a ton of mud.. But we where ok and well.

We evacuated and found shelter with friends

It is true that material things doesn't always

matter at times... Thanks for listening again...
