Thanks for sharing your experience. It's frustrating when critical tech fails. For anyone else having issues, it might be worth checking the official Continuous Glucose Monitor Receiver Recall to see if your specific device is affected. Staying informed is the best way to handle these malfunctions.

Should your Dr. or Specialist prescribe Dex-Com system of constant-read glucometer, be aware that I experienced four malfunctioning arm sensors within a six-moth period, and when I wrote to complain, they simply put me on "ignore". So I would advise asking for an alternative to that product which apparently will not warranty their off-shore manufactured instruments.

Don’t know if any of theses are the same type situation but they do issue warnings when there is a malfunction.

ALWAYS check the FDA site for any specific recalls - they are listed by product and S/N

FDA.gov 07/17/2025 - Continuous Glucose Monitor Receiver Recall: Dexcom, Inc.

So today, I must issue an apology to Dex Com. Wouldn't you know, the very day after I lost patience in not hearing from them, and posted the above, when I went to my pharmacy,THERE were more product, than the number I had complained about, so Yes, Dex Com does indeed warranty their product, and I'm placing therm back on the "recommended" list, after all, their constant-read instruments are a big help in alerting to high & low glucose readings as they happen, so it sure beats sticking fingers four or five times a day, doesn't it? Apologies, Dex-Com for being too impatient !
