Hello: I have not yet started Social Security but am on Medicare (Basic and Part B). I am new to Medicare by a few months. I pay my Part B premium on-line (not autopay) via credit card not via Social Security. I believe I have paid my Part B Premium multiple months in advance since I mistakenly didn't wait for bill. Is there a way to see when my next Part B premium is due (how far in advance I have paid)? Will paying my Part B Premium in advance by a few months cause any issues or will medicare just apply the premium?

Thanks in advance for assistance

@BuddyM96357

Then figure it up based on the payments.

Look at your Medicare card - and the effective date of Part B - start counting from that month because it should say Part B effective date of

XX-01-2026.

Your regular payment is $ 202.90 per month. Part B payments are always for the month that they are due - not in advance and not a month behind like SS payment are. So if your card said Part B is effective for 02/01/2026 then that is the 1st $ 202.90 and you go from there.

Most times the bills come for 3-months at a time - if your Part B goes back to an effective date of 2025 - the regular payment last year was $185.00

OK?
