When I read your post, I wondered about collecting social security overseas. A google search using "social security for expats" generated a list of articles, one being a government website where you can determine the countries where you could live and collect your retirement. Panama was on the list and I didn't look any farther. Good luck. It sounds exotic and appealing.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I apologize if there was a prior post I could not find...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I would like to move to Panama from US/Nevada as retiree with necessary monthly funding.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Anyone who has done this or is considering who has more knowledge or anyone who would like to move to Panama as a substantial group... let's do this!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks, Dirk; checked SS and no matter where someone lives, if you earned it you get it; terms differ based on monetary systems.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Not sure how "exotic" Panama is considered; not so much by folks I know who either live or have visited there. Stable is more the word related to Panama.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
