topic Meeting with others who are taking care of an aging parent (virtual or in person) in Caregiving

I am living with my mom, she is 81, and at times I want to run screaming into the night. We are both such different people since my dad passed and our normal best-friend status is being tried! I looked all over AARP and couldn't find a resource for a group that meets - either in person or online. To be honest, I feel a bit desperate.

Hi Susanne,
I’m sorry you’re feeling so overwhelmed. Losing a parent changes everything, and it’s tough adjusting to a new routine and role. We’re building a community for caregivers so folks like you can connect, swap stories, and support each other through virtual (and soon in-person) meetups. You’re not alone in this. Feel free to join us here: https://elderhoodproject.substack.com/p/welcome-to-the-elderhood-project
hope to see you soon!
