    <description>&lt;P&gt;---- Well, it sounds like you have a handle on scams and are well informed.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;---there are other folks who do not have a good handle on scams and are not well informed.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;---And that can be for very legitimate reasons, rather than them not being responsible.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;---Seniors, disabled folks and on...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;About oh, maybe 7 years ago, when my mother was 90, she was approached by a major charity.&amp;nbsp; She used to give them a $50 donation per year.&amp;nbsp; Some scammer got hold of her and pressured her into giving $10,000, not $50.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;----Luckily we caught this before the $10,000 was sent and lost.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;---- My purpose in posting this to maybe help protect another senior from losing large volumes of money that they need for their retirement...&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="5" color="#0000FF"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;There is so much media attention to frauds and scams now that if someone falls for a scam, it is their own fault. Judging from accents, hold music, hold messaging, and many other similarities, I have determined that almost all scam calls come from the same country. I jerk them around, use a few words in their native language that are offensive, and generally, waste their time.&lt;/STRONG&gt; &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
