Should your spouse pass you would get the larger of your benefit or your husband’s.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;there are some provisos on this for special circumstances but generally what you describe is correct&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hypothetically if I am receiving $700 a month and my husband is receiving $1200 a month, my survivor benefits would be his $1200, and not his plus mine?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
