Start by moving daily-use items to waist height and adding pull-out shelves to lower cabinets. Use lever handles instead of knobs and avoid step stools if possible. A Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist or an occupational therapist can also do a quick home safety check and suggest simple upgrades.

This is such a thoughtful thing to plan for, small changes can make a huge difference. An occupational therapist or aging-in-place specialist might have great practical ideas, and sometimes local senior centers have referrals too. Wishing you luck with the reorg, it sounds like a really positive step 💛
