WARNING: Limit of ONLY ONE gift card per purchase @ Harry & David (and other affiliated businesses?)

So over the past couple years I've accumulated a lot of $5 and $10 Harry & David (and related) gift cards but when ordering online I can use ONLY ONE gift card.

Their FAQ says to contact customer support. So I contact customer support and they say there's a limit of only one gift card per order. So why did they say to weaste my time calling customer support? To rub it in more I guess? I asked to talk with someone higher and no luck.

Shipping costs are painfull. There is a $20/$30 passport for a year's worth of shipping but you can't use any gift cards for that?!?!

$5 off is only a dent in their prices. Buy a $50 card and save only $5 which still doesn't really help.

A company that gets free money for not providing a service. Only one gift card... Growl.

I've run into this on a few sites. The Popcorn Factory (part of Harry and David) allows 2 gift cards so that helps a little. I use a $5 card with a $50 to use up the smaller ones. Enter the smaller one first. Also, FYI, Harry&David/Popcorn Factory did not allow me to buy the Free Shipping for A Year with a gift card.

Dominos online limits to 3, I think.

With Home Depot they used to limit to 5 gift cards, but now they allow more. I think I have done up to 10 now with no issues.

Jersey Mike's in Covington, WA didn't even accept gift cards in store. So they actually gave my daughter in law the sandwich. That was very nice of them.

Well, now they take 2 gift cards. It says if you want to use more, you have to call customer service.

I take my Domino's into the store for them to ring up. I was afraid the site would eat them like Panera's did some time ago. A nice manager fixed that for me and took them in store but he might not have as he was kind to take my word for it. I did not know that about Harry and David. I thought I could save up to get something. Won't bother now as $5 is the proverbial drop in the bucket.

When I was shopping online at Kohls last week they only let me put 4 gift cards in.

I have redeemed as many as 8 at one time.

The Outback server was very nice and accommodating, of course I told her to just take her time & take care of her paying customers first.

I believe you can call your orders in when that happens. I did that a few years back.
