If I renew for the 5 year membership (@ $55). does it start when my current membership expires (Feb 2026), or will it start now (thereby losing 6 months membership)?

mine was always extended by the time so if it expired in july and I renewed in april it would extend till the next july.

There's only ONE acceptable answer to your question but it may not be the one you receive from AARP
