Here are the headlines on AARP'S web site:

(1) 5 REASONS NOT TO TOUCH YOUR 401-K WHEN THE STOCK MARKET PLUNGES

AARP should be taking a position regarding the singular cause of the plunge of the stock market. The market has been sent into a tailspin artificially. A downturn of 25% has affected every member of AARP but not one word have I seen from AARP regarding its cause and AARP'S position on its cause.

(2) 10 PRODUCTS THAT MAY GET MORE EXPENSIVE DUE TO TARIFFS

Again, rather than state the obvious, AARP needs to take a position regarding the tariffs. There aren't 10 products that will be affected. There are hundreds of products that have had an artificially increased price. As to causation, once again, all you hear are crickets from AARP. Tariffs affect all its members.

(3) FIRED AFTER 50. STEPS FEDERAL WORKERS SHOULD TAKE NOW

Finally, yet a third headline that skirts a responsibility to its' members. It gives advise after the fact rather than taking a position regarding artificially generated loss of employment for so many Federal workers, many of whom are AARP members.

AARP has lost its way.
