Howdy - I'm new as a member. Love the Book Lists and would like to get my memoir about caregiving and my wife's battle with terminal brain cancer called "Lucy's Biggest To Fry" along with my debut fiction novel called "The Accidental Player" listed. The Accidental Player follows a newly-minted widower in his late fifties as he stumbles into a singles world he never imagined. His behavior puts his relationship with his daughter at risk. It's based on some of my experiences after my wife died.

I've written many books over the years and finally written one with a central character in their 60's. It's available through Barnes & Noble. From 4/29/2026 (today) through 5/2/2026 you can use the promo code BNPONEFREE and download the EPUB version for free. If you click the little red arrow in the lower corner of the EPUB book cover you can read an excerpt that is most of the first chapter before you take the time to download a free copy.
