I want to move out of state and with very few resources

I cannot afford much at my age which is almost 67 and it seems life has changed people no one seems to care I have been asking for anyone to lend an ear or even shoot an email no discussion needed. No responses. Only about their own lives and how great they are doing. I am ashamed, feel defeated and terrified to move out of state with very low financial resources. I have tried looking at driving and shipping clothing, shipping car and clothing but then i need to get there also and no one to pick me up i will be staying in a motel and praying for a job.

Sounds risky financially to me - with no [money] cushion, anything could happen.

From your post it is hard to discern why another place would be better than the place where you currently live. Many times, a geographical change doesn’t change anything and could make the defeatism even more profound.

Perhaps have a job lined up before making the move - because most places are gonna want a deposit on any rented living place. Then there is getting the utilities turned on - so lots of expenses even after you arrive at the new place.

Sounds like finding a place just to vent may also help you - perhaps meetings at the local senior center or one of the charitable programs or medical institutions that run such outreach programs for ones mental health and well-being.

Maybe make a list of the good and the bad presumed consequences of a move and see which has the most positive appeal - there are bridges to cross, either way.
