      <title>Unable to setup Private Messaging</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The instructions are to go to My Settings/Preferences/Private Messenger tab to turn on private messaging. Following the instructions, I do not get the Private Messenger tab to be able to turn on.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;How can I rectify this?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I ran into that once and it turned out the forum admin had disabled private messaging site-wide, so the tab never showed up no matter what I did. Might be worth checking with them before pulling your hair out. I’ve had a similar thing at work where our &lt;A href="https://telxi.com" target="_self"&gt;sip trunk provider&lt;/A&gt; made setup smooth and reliable, but only after certain features were activated—so it could just be a setting that needs turning on here too.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
