Hi ChuckJ397535, I understand how that may cause concern receiving an error message after updating your community username. Generally, you will receive that error when there is a temporary glitch in the system. Refreshing the page usually solves the issue. -Tiffanie S.

When I went to change my community username, I got an error message "Something went wrong, please try again later". However, when returning to may account page, it had the new community username. When I click the link "Community Profile" it takes me to a page with an error "An Unexpected Error has occurred"

Is the Community Profile currently down, or have I messed something up?

Thanks for the suggestion @AARPConsumerCare Unfortunately even after doing an "Empty Cache and Hard Reload" on all the related pages, including the Account Details page with the "Community Profile" link (https://secure.aarp.org/account/editaccount) and the Online Community page (https://community.aarp.org/) I still get the error when clicking the Community Profile link. Oh well.
