    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://community.aarp.org/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/394597"&gt;@panosh&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;, I have no idea why this “inbox” thing bothers people so, but it seems to bug people a lot.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; It’s made to look like a real email box from AARP, and shows a number beside new “stuff” they want us to read. &amp;nbsp;Or not. &amp;nbsp;I go the Or Not way, and just ignore the whole thing. &amp;nbsp;The number goes up, the number goes down, I ignore it. &amp;nbsp;It has no affect on me. &amp;nbsp;I don’t read it. &amp;nbsp;You can’t delete them anyway, and after a certain amount of time they go away anyway. &amp;nbsp;If the number in red bothers you cover it with paper. &amp;nbsp;The whole thing is a gimmick anyway to get your attention.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;how do you delete?&amp;nbsp; I asked aarp about this, they said you will get these messages and they will stay in your box until either the offer expires or they remove it.&amp;nbsp; told I can't delete it myself.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Correct, they are still there, can’t be deleted, but the act of just scrolling them, &amp;nbsp;or reading them, the number attached to the inbox goes away, which seems to be the thing that bothers people I think. &amp;nbsp;But they are still in the inbox, the number disappears though after doing that. &amp;nbsp;It’s futile, really…unless you just don’t want to see the number attached. &amp;nbsp;Then I guess it’s an exercise one needs to do. &amp;nbsp;I’m fine leaving it hanging there.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
