But for those who see this BEWARE and stay away..

1.I had a travel credit for a cruise...

2. Called before I left and they said it will be added before the cruise.

3. Called again, was told it would be added within 2 days during the cruise

4. Called on day 3 of the cruise and they said it could be added up to the last day.. BULL$HIT then what

good is the onboard credit if its the LAST day of the cruise???

5. Cruise ended still did not received onboard credit.

6. Now they tell me they will refund it and it can take up to 10 days

7.

I booked a hotel room through AARP's travel benefit powered by Expedia. It was at the Fairfield Inn in Crete, Nebraska. The price they showed was $111 per night which would have been $555 plus taxes. Instead I was charged 156 per night for a total of $887 with taxes. When I asked about my so called AARP discount I was informed it was only on select hotels and mine wasn't one!!! The Expedia employees were RUDE! When I complained to AARP the AARP employee had a I-don't-care-so-shut-up-and-go-away attitude. So I cancelled my membership. I had renewed for four years so I asked to be refunded the two unused years. However because my Bank had cancelled my old debit card and issued me a new one because they had detected it had been compromised after I renewed my membership. So I was told too bad you don't get your money back! THANKS ALOT! Yet another "Wolf in sheep's clothing" to rip-off the elderly while claiming they're here to help! WELL DON'T DO ME ANY FAVORS!

Why do you go hard on membership when this company has poor service?!?

Whatever details of the booking you see when you book might be the last time you can locate them. It's like a booking site within a booking site. The deals are okay, but finding what you booked after the fact is nearly impossible. Hotel called me directly because they had to change the booking (no fault of AARP or Expedia) and they gave a new booking number -- was on with live chat for 1-1/2 hour and it was not listed on my account, nor could they add it in. BOOK DIRECTLY WITH EXPEDIA OR ANOTHER TRAVEL BOOKING WEBSITE.

It's sad AARP Expedia contracts out to a bunch of foreign workers at some phone bank that are clueless to what they are doing. I tried for three hours... THREE HOURS... to book a flight using a airline credit I had. Going through these idiots was the only option AARP Expedia gives you to apply a credit to a flight. After finally figuring it out, Hussain tried to charge me $120 more then the website cost for the flight! The next day I went through Delta, who issued the credit, and had no issue and saved the $120! AARP Expedia is a joke, a scam, and you will do better elsewhere! I will never deal with them again, and AARP should be ashamed to associate with them.
