Cirque du Soleil Discounts are Bogus

My wife and I have been considering an AARP membership for a couple years. Today, we joined when we saw we could buy discounted Cirque du Soleil tickets as members.

Unfortunately, their 'discounts' through their memberdeals.com website are NOT discounts at all! The seats they offered us were $511 for two. Buying those same seats on Bellagio's own site are $479.

If AARP members are buying things that they think are discounted, but cost them more, then AARP is doing a disservice to us in the least, and possibly fraud at most.

Actually, AARP does have an affiliation with that website. I used EXACTLY the link you provided, clicked on Entertainment, and there is the Cirque du Soleil link for 'up to 30% off'. (try it yourself) Sure, it takes us to a third party, but AARP is absolutely recommending them. By recommending them, your members are using them thinking they're saving money, but AARP is costing us money. I wonder how many other of these recommendations are harming members.

I will say it yet again because either Christy C is an AI bot or she is unwilling to follow the links and verify it herself. To the 185 people that are reading this thread: I followed the links she gave us and sure enough, it takes you to the same site that she said is not related to AARP. And, a ticket bought directly from Cirque was $220 but from AARP's affiliate with a discount it is $255.

Do not believe AARP's discounts for this product. You're being scammed. See my screenshots for proof.
