British Airways Discount Not Working

When I try to book a flight using the link off of AARP it will show a discount rate for the flights but the final price ends up being the same as when I checked prices going on the British Airways page without using the link and it not showing a “Discounted” under the price. When I look at the breakdown of the price of the ticket they show the exact same prices in each area(fare,carrier imposed charge,etc) even though the price of the ticket is $200 less when picking my flights. Has anyone had any luck in getting the discount?

I’m just going to throw around fictitious numbers because I forgot the actual fares for my example. If you go on to BA site without using the AARP link and the ticket I’m looking for is $1500 each way so my airfare would be $3000 plus taxes. When I use the AARP link it shows the cost of the ticket being $1400 each way but the final price is still $3000 plus taxes. They break the pricing down as fare, carrier imposed charge and then a bunch of fees and taxes to get you to your final price. Regardless of using the AARP site with the discount or using the BA site without the discount, all of those prices remain the same. I hope I’ve explained this properly and you understand.

what is the best way to speak with an actual human? From all of the comments I see on this issue, I’m pretty sure my problem will not be resolved.

This is still not working. Multiple chats with AARP using the chat button but no reply and no resolution. Not even an ETA!
