topic AARP UHC Medicare Advantage in Benefits & Discounts

I was on the phone with UHC for 40 minutes to resolve a website issue that started with me being unable to log in because, according to the agent, my account had been deleted (no reason known). After two agents assisted and my having to create a brand new UHC online account (again, unclear why) and waiting on perma-hold for a supervisor, I thought I would post my experiences with AARP's community. I did not initially see where/how to post, and the AARP rep kept me on an extended hold because she was unable to locate the community member board site. I give up. AARP is relentless when it comes time to renew (even when that renewal date is a year or more out) and promotions that include expensive cruises and trips, but not so much when it comes to meeting the needs of working class and middle class members. I had an equally unfavorable experience with their heavily-promoted Consumer Cellular phones and plans. No thanks.
