I frequently purchase the Carnival Gift Cards. I noticed that they are no longer premium. Why is that? Are they going away?

I just spoke with AARP about this. They gave the standard market conditions, demand, etc…. I also found out that if you have a spouse or another adult in the same house on your membership, they can also purchase 5. In addition, you no longer need to be 55 to purchase a membership. Anyone over 18 can purchase, but benefits requiring proof of age (gift cards do not) don’t apply. They can also purchase 5 per month. Just some ideas after my call with AARP Rewards. Me too. I'm hugely disappointed, was planning to buy for gifts for Christmas and now they are just 8% off!
