Hello everyone, It is a pleasure to meet you all and introduce myself. My name is Amelia Petre and I live in Ridgefield, CT. I am married and had 3 beautiful children but lost my youngest daughter at age 34 to a courageous 3 1/2 year battle with Invase Breast Cancer. It is already 12 years that Judy is gone but her woul lives in heaven. In her memory I published a book called Judy's Fight, which is her battle of breast cancer and her poems and her feelings of this horrible disease. I published the book. Ihave 6 grandchildren from ages 22 to 5. They are wonderful and they help feel the emptiness in my life. I have traveled on cruise ships and flew too many places. I can say I have seen alot of the world. Now as of February 2016 I am fully retired. I do not like being retired as I worked most of my adult life. I just was told by my last employer that they were replacing me with a full time employee. So now I am out there looking for Part-Time work. I am 75 years young and I still have the get up and go. I would like to work close to home and that would be in the Ridgefield, CT area. I don't have a resume to speak of as I only work for two companies my entire career.
